A Message From John Bruna, Co-Founder of Mindfulness in Recovery®
Gale Standen
In 1991, David Elliott, Burning Tree’s President & Founder, entered Eagle Crest Ranch, a treatment center located in Tucson, Arizona. It was here that he met Gale Standen who, serving as a mentor, helped David establish his path to permanent freedom from addiction.
Years later, with Gale’s support and stewardship, David founded Burning Tree Ranch, the nation’s only authentic long-term treatment center for chronic addiction. Since its inception, Burning Tree has developed into a nationally recognized brand that now features two distinct programs: Burning Tree Ranch and Renewal Lodge.
Both programs bare witness to Gale’s incredible passion for love, service and excellence.
Today, more than 30 years later, we are beyond grateful to name Burning Tree’s newest legacy in her honor: The Gale Standen Family and Training Institute.
