Alcohol Rehab in Texas

Find Lasting Recovery from Alcohol Abuse at Renewal Lodge

About 10% of people over the age of 12 struggle with alcohol use disorder, and even more use alcohol excessively.

One of the reasons that alcohol use is so prevalent is that alcohol is a socially accepted drug.

Many people use it to take the edge off or have fun with their friends. It’s not always easy to recognize when it becomes a problem or necessitates alcohol rehab.

If you’re asking yourself whether you or a loved one could benefit from alcohol rehab, then it is likely that alcohol use is becoming a problem.

Getting support from an alcohol rehab center raises awareness about the condition and prevents it from getting worse.

No matter where you are in your journey, Renewal Lodge’s Alcohol Rehab in Texas can help you get your life back on track.

If You Answer Yes to Any of The Following Questions Then It's Time to Seek an Alcohol Rehab Program

Our alcohol rehab in Texas isn’t going to turn you away because your problem isn’t significant enough. In fact, starting addiction treatment early can reduce relapse rates and prevent the problem from getting worse.

It’s a myth that you have to wait until you have hit rock bottom before attending alcohol rehab. A major part of alcohol rehab involves transforming your lifestyle and establishing healthy behaviors and habits. It’s much easier to rebuild a life in recovery when you start somewhere in the middle.

At Renewal Lodge, we treat people at every stage of their recovery journey.

Physical Signs of Alcohol Addiction

Strong Cravings Or Urges To Drink
Increased Tolerance To Alcohol
Increased Mental Health Disorder
Withdrawal Symptoms Such As Shakiness

You don’t have to wait until you experience physical signs of addiction to seek out alcohol rehab. However, if you are struggling with uncomfortable symptoms, going to an alcohol treatment center for detox can help you start your recovery on the right foot.

At Renewal Lodge in Texas, we use a combination of medication-assisted therapy and other evidence-based methods to provide a holistic approach to alcohol rehab. In addition to supporting you through detox, we offer short and long-term programs to create a solid foundation for life after alcohol rehab.

The 12 Steps

The 12-step approach to rehab has been proven to be effective for reducing relapse rates and sustaining recovery. We incorporate this way of thinking and behaving in all of our programs at Renewal Lodge.

Dual Diagnosis Care

Alcohol abuse disorders and mental illnesses often go hand in hand. One often leads to the other or worsens the other. That’s why we treat both with dual diagnosis care.

Your 4-Part Recovery Process

Treat Your Whole Self

Alcohol abuse affects every part of a person: their mind, soul, and body. We believe your treatment should too.

Mindfulness in Recovery (MIR)® treatment uses the 12-step program, mindfulness practices, and medication to offer a holistic treatment program. So you can find lasting freedom.

Treat The Family

Alcohol Abuse never only affects the person suffering from the disease. It also affects the people closest to them.

The family program is a 2-day training program offered once a month where you’ll discover ways to help and support your loved one as well as ways to find your own inner healing.

Learn Emotional Regulation Skills

Many people use alcohol to cope with stress, trauma, and emotional turmoil. Learning to mindfully manage your emotions helps prevent lapses. It arms you with better tools to cope with heavy emotions.

We teach emotional intelligence to help residents manage emotions without relying on alcohol.

Dear Renewal Lodge Visitors,

My name is John Bruna, co-founder of the Mindfulness in Recovery® Institute, and more importantly, a grateful member of the recovery community. I am incredibly fortunate to have found my recovery in 1984. Of course, I did not achieve continuous recovery through willpower or my own efforts, but through the guidance and caring support of countless others that selflessly taught me how to live through the 12 Steps.

My journey of recovery brought this once homeless, shame-based, traumatized, insecure young man to a life far beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I discovered self-worth, the joy of helping others, the gifts of parenting and grandparenting, and most importantly the ability to live a meaningful and purposeful life with integrity.

One of the greatest gifts of recovery is that I have the opportunity to give back and help others discover their self-worth, dignity, and the skills to fully live lives that they find truly meaningful. This is the inspiration for developing the skills of Mindfulness in Recovery® (MIR) to meet the needs of new generations struggling with alcohol and other substance use disorders. MIR is a set of evidence-based skills designed to help people fully integrate their tools of recovery in ways that are personalized, practical, and in alignment with their deepest values.

While we train counselors and therapists throughout the United States and abroad, I personally have chosen to work directly with the amazing team and clients at Renewal Lodge to develop the model MIR 12-step program for the nation. I choose Renewal Lodge because of the vision of its mission and the dedication of its team. Renewal Lodge is an extremely rare environment in which the staff embodies the very mindfulness and 12-step practices and skills they offer their clients. The results have been beyond my expectations. It is an honor to be here and I treasure my personal time with every client I meet.

With Gratitude,

John Bruna
